Meet the Team: Ashley
VP, Operations at HumanX
Name: Ashley Witz
Title: VP, Operations
How long you have been at HumanX: Since the beginning!
What’s your background, and what brought you to HumanX?
I’ve been in the events industry for over a decade. I was key in launching the HLTH conference, a health tech event that brings together over 10,000 senior executives to Las Vegas every year. From there, I led the Event Marketing team at Hello Heart, a startup focused on heart health, and helped grow their events portfolio to over 100 events per year. I enjoy building companies from the ground up and was one of the first hires to join the HumanX team.
What are you most excited about for this year’s HumanX event?
I’m most excited to see the growth. Year one always comes with a lot of unknowns, but now we’re on a strong trajectory and will likely double in size. Bringing HumanX to the center of the AI universe in San Francisco will elevate the entire experience and push our momentum even further.
What’s one session, speaker, or track you’re personally looking forward to—and why?
I’m really looking forward to our Interactive Sessions. They’re one of the best formats we offer because they give attendees rare, up-close access to speakers they might not otherwise meet. Whether it’s Q&A, demos, or roundtable discussions, the format is intentionally designed to be more dynamic and engaging than a traditional session.
What’s one tool or habit that helps you stay on top of your game, either personally or professionally?
Many of us use ReadAI as a notetaker on our meetings - that’s been super helpful to summarize meeting notes and action items; it’s also helpful if I need to miss a meeting I can still get the recording of the meeting and the highlights.
What’s a skill or lesson you’ve learned while working at HumanX?
I was barely using AI or ChatGPT etc before working at HumanX and now it’s a daily occurrence.
What’s your favorite productivity hack at work?
Being a fully remote company, my team and I send each other lots of voice memos and screen recordings. Juggling busy schedules, we don’t always need to hop on a meeting, sometimes a quick voice memo will do.
What’s one playlist or podcast that gets you through the day?
