Andreas Blattmann is a Co-Founder of the German generative AI startup Black Forest Labs, best known for its state of the art text-to-image foundation model FLUX and backed by renowned venture capital firms like Andreessen Horowitz. Prior to founding Black Forest Labs, Andreas was a generative AI researcher at LMU Munich, NVIDIA and StabilityAI, where he made significant contributions in the field of image- and video-generation. He is the co-inventor of Latent Diffusion, a generative modeling technique that led to the famous open-source text-to-image AI system Stable Diffusion
