Naveen Rao is a well-known researcher and AI entrepreneur. He has founded three foundational AI companies: Nervana Systems, the first AI chip company, which was acquired by Intel; MosaicML, which focused on reducing the cost of LLM training and inference; and Unconventional AI, which focuses on extremely low-power inference computing. He holds a BSEE from Duke University and a PhD in computational neuroscience from Brown University.
