Joon Sung Park is the co-founder and CEO of Simile, an AI company building simulations of human behavior to help organizations test decisions before acting in the real world. He began his career as a painter before transitioning to AI research and earning a PhD in Computer Science from Stanford University. There, he pioneered research on generative agents, including the widely recognized “Smallville” study, which helped lay the foundation for Simile. The company has raised $300 million in less than six months, reaching a $2 billion valuation.
