Andrew Reiter is a co-founder of Shield AI. He currently leads State Estimation for the V-BAT platform, where he works on the GPS-denied navigation systems that let V-BAT localize itself in contested environments. Before founding Shield AI, he led development of one of Draper Laboratory's most successful visual-inertial guidance systems. Andrew stepped away from Shield in 2023 to spend time with molten-salt reactors at Fleet Nuclear and humanoid robots at Boston Dynamics before ultimately returning to Shield in early 2026.
