Previously she was CNN's Jerusalem Correspondent, for which she and the team won an Emmy for their coverage of the October 7, 2023 attacks. She was also a correspondent in London and Washington, D.C. for CNN covering media, tech and politics. Before joining CNN, Gold spent more than five years at Politico as a media reporter, during which she was named one of the “most influential media reporters” by Mediaite in 2017.
