Matt Rouif is the co-founder and CEO of Photoroom. He has spent 15 years building photo and video editing apps and more than a decade working at the intersection of AI and visual computing. As a student at Polytechnique and later Stanford, Matt began building photo apps while still on campus, drawn to the idea that powerful creative tools shouldn’t be reserved for professionals. He later led product for Quik Video Editor, which was acquired by GoPro, where he oversaw image and video editing tools used by hundreds of millions worldwide.
