Shaun Maguire is a Partner at Sequoia Capital. At Sequoia he led our investments into SpaceX, The Boring Company, X, xAI, Neuralink, AMP Robotics, Bridge, Decart, Eon, Factory, Vise, Lightmatter and others. Prior to Sequoia, Shaun co-founded Expanse, a cybersecurity company that was acquired by Palo Alto Networks for $1B. Shaun has also held positions at GV and DARPA. Shaun earned a BS in Mathematics from the University of Southern California, an MS in Statistics from Stanford University, an MS in Control and Dynamical Systems from Caltech and a PhD in Physics from Caltech.
