How long you have been at HumanX: Since March 2026, hitting the 6 months mark now :)

What’s your background, and what brought you to HumanX?

I grew up in Canada and have spent my adult life living and working abroad- most recently in Amsterdam, Dubai, New York, and Taiwan. Music was my first path: I spent a couple years pursuing the career of being a singer before realizing that a) it didn’t pay the bills 🙁 and b) I had wider entrepreneurial interests beyond singing.

I then pivoted into sales with a luxury skincare line in New York, before transitioning to the events sector at the EMEA headquarters of a large global events company in Amsterdam. Over eight years, I built and managed portfolios across food, pharma, and consumer retail—all while maintaining a strong interest in technology. That curiosity eventually led me to Dubai to be part of a tech-focused events portfolio, leading the startup program for their European launch.

However, Europe always felt like home, so when the opportunity to be part of the HumanX in Europe opened up, I was THRILLED! Returning to Amsterdam to join HumanX is a full-circle moment, allowing me to bring my international experience back to a city I love while contributing to the region's growing tech ecosystem.

What are you most excited about for this year’s HumanX event?

Having been part of a launch of a tech event in Germany in my previous role, I've seen firsthand both the challenges and the strengths of Europe's tech and startup ecosystem; the fragmentation, the funding gaps, but also the depth of talent and innovation that often gets overlooked.

HumanX has built something exceptional in the US, tapping into the momentum of an ecosystem that never slows down. Bringing that energy to Amsterdam feels like the right next step: a chance to connect the ambition driving tech in the US with the strengths already here in Europe, allowing the different ecosystems to foster each other.

How would you describe HumanX in 3 words?

Transformative, Fast-paced, Intentional

What’s a skill or lesson you’ve learned while working at HumanX?

HumanX has taught me how to actually make technology work for you. HumanX is the most technology-forward company I've worked for and leadership is incredibly open to new tools and platforms, but the real lesson has been learning to use them strategically. AI can get you a strong baseline fast, but without your own point of view on top, you end up with generic 'AI babble.' The skill is knowing where the tools end and the strategy begins.

What’s one thing that always makes your day better?

Anything with cheese and onion on it. And laughing at the 100th reel my besties have sent me on IG.

If you could teleport anywhere for lunch, where are you going?

Yeonnam neighborhood in Seoul for rosé spaghetti with pork belly (Korean-fusion pasta), and then cafe hopping in the neighborhood. I also know a spot for ube french toast in the area that is to die for :)

What’s one playlist or podcast that gets you through the day?

KPOP to start the day on a light note, hard techno when I am in focus mode. I have diverse tastes….
