Stamos is also a Lecturer in Computer Science and International Policy at Stanford University where he teaches classes on cybersecurity and online safety. He was previously the Chief Security Officer of Facebook, Yahoo and SentinelOne. At Facebook he built the company’s first counter-terrorism capability and strengthened data protections for billions of users while leading the response to foreign disinformation campaigns.
