Janelle Teng is a partner at Bessemer where she focuses primarily on early-stage investments in AI/ML apps, data infrastructure, developer platforms, and defense tech. She specializes in applied AI and is passionate about supporting highly technical teams and founders from research backgrounds. Currently, Janelle serves as a board director or observer for Claroty, Coactive, Moonvalley, Render, TurbineOne, and Virtru. Janelle developed many of Bessemer’s AI infrastructure, data tooling, and defense tech frameworks.
