Marcelo Cortes is the co-founder and Chief Architect of Faire. He has played a pivotal role in scaling Faire’s engineering organization, establishing the company’s Canadian headquarters in Kitchener-Waterloo, and growing its technical teams to more than 300. A former small business owner and startup founder, Marcelo brings both entrepreneurial perspective and deep technical expertise to ensure Faire can rapidly scale world-class products from prototype to launch. Prior to Faire, he was a Staff Software Engineer at Square and a Senior Software Engineer at Google.
